Fraction on Number Line Race is a fast, two-player math game that turns fraction practice into a friendly competition. Players take turns across 10 rounds, racing to show their fraction skills on a clean 0–1 number line.

Each round presents one of three challenge types:

  • Place the fraction: A fraction appears (like 3/4), and the player clicks the correct spot on the number line.
  • Name the fraction: A letter M marks a point on the number line, and the player types the fraction it represents.
  • Unit fraction challenge: Players identify the unit fraction based on the number line’s equal divisions (like 1/6).

Answer correctly and you unlock a fun reward moment: choose from three mystery boxes to earn a random number of points. Miss the question and the turn switches to the other player, keeping the pace quick and exciting.

Designed with a bright royal blue classroom-friendly theme, instant feedback, and sound effects for correct/incorrect answers, Fraction Line Race helps students build confidence with fractions—especially common denominators like 2 through 8—while staying engaged through game-style scoring and suspenseful rewards. Perfect for math centers, partner practice, or a quick whole-class challenge.
