This is a pretty cool 3d animation comparing the different depths of water bodies all the way down to the Marianas Trench. This would be a cool video to show during lessons in oceanography or when discussing plate tectonics.
I designed this 5 paragraph expository text writing organizer to help my 3rd graders have space to restate the prompt, come up with three big ideas or main ideas, add details as well as cite text evidence and then create a conclusion paragraph. This has been very beneficial to my teaching nonfiction text writing.
My district has been using reflex math for about 4 years now and the teachers all concur that it is one of the best programs out there that help build fluency for math facts. By the time students are done, they will be fluent in whichever program you assign them, whether it is addition and subtraction or multiplication and division. This program does come with a cost though, but we have found it to be an excellent resource the help build elementary student math fact fluency.
Students find out what a witch's favorite subject is by solving a riddle. In order to solve the riddles, they will need to find the products for 10 multiples of 10 questions.
