This worksheet is a scavenger hunt that students can use to learn and relearn the knowledge of expository text features. In the worksheet, students will find titles of diagrams, titles of charts, captions, keywords, bullet points, illustrations, table of contents, glossary, sidebars, titles, subtitles, and maps.
I use the Scholastic News with this worksheet, but it could work with any magazine type.

In this elementary phonics activity, the teacher will read a word that ends in -le and the students will circle the correct spelling of it.
In this spelling worksheet, students will read a sentence with one misspelled word in each sentence. Students will rewrite each sentence correctly using the correct spelling. The vocabulary words used are almost, among, time, cause, effect, glared, culture, description, minute, and prepare.
Can your students find the numbered patterns? Students will be exposed to input-output tables, addition and subtraction patterns, and one multiplication table pattern.
In this 3rd through 10th-grade lab, students will observe the formation of salt crystals. Students will also add food coloring to their dissolved salt solution to demonstrate how chemical impurities can change a mineral's color. In this worksheet, students will tell the time by analyzing clock faces as well as drawing clock faces for digital time. There are nine clocks. There is also one multiplication review word problem question.
In this reading activity designed for 3rd graders, students will read a couple of paragraphs with 19 missing words.
