Students will demonstrate their knowledge of multiplication by using strategies like groups of, arrays, and repeated addition.  They will model each one of seven problems.

This product gives plenty of practice to elementary students who are working at memorizing their multiplication times tables.

In this Halloween version of bingo, teachers can call either the quotient or the equation. There are 30 cards where the teacher calls the quotient and students find a valid equation and 30 cards where the teacher calls the equation and students find an equal quotient.

Students will find the product using the distributive property.  There are also 4 questions that review the identity property, the zero property, the commutative property, and the associative property.

In this activity, students will partner up. They will each get a single die. They will record their first roll on the worksheet. Then roll it again and multiply it by 10. Next, they will find the product of their first roll times their 2nd roll which was multiplied by 10.

I use this in my class with those students who aren't quite getting how to round yet.  They either sit with me or a para pro and discuss these questions.

This is a two-page worksheet that has 5 multiplication and 5 division word problems.  Students have room to show their work using methods such as repeated addition, repeated subtraction, groups of, equal groups of, and arrays. 

Students solve these array problems by counting the images down and across and then multiplying the numbers.
